I See You!!!

Little one, I could not have been more filled with joy then I was yesterday morning! The ultrasound went exactly as I prayed it would, to the last detail. Right when the ultrasound started, I was able t osee you, no looking around! The Dr. said, "There's your munchkin! It definitely has a heartbeat." It was such a beautiful thing. Your Auntie and Cousin Coco were there, Daddy had to be at work. So we walked out of there feeling very happy and confident!
I videotaped a few moments of the ultrasound to show your Daddy, and he told me that when he saw your heartbeat, he felt very strongly that you were a little girl! How cute, he hasn't had an opinion on boy or girl since the beginning!
You are still constantly in my prayers. I'm looking forward to you being big enough to find with my fetal doppler. I'll be glad to listen to your heartbeat whenever I want to, as I did with your brother.

1 More Day Before I See You!

Today I'm 7 weeks and 1 day. It's very exciting to continue to move through the first trimester!

Tomorrow morning is my ultrasound and I am really glad that it will be the first time I lay eyes on you. I hope to have a picture of your little beany blobness to share.

I'm still experiencing a lot of dizziness and some nausea. But I'm making it through. What matters is that you are making it, baby bean.

Why O Why, Baby #2??

I'm now 6 weeks and 4 days. Well, if I thought I was getting out of morning sickness this pregnancy, I was wrong! It's been pretty steady the last 5 days or so, pretty yucky the last 2 where I have to lay on the couch for a few hours each morning. It's hard to chase a rambunctious toddler around feeling so poopy! I remember feeling slightly like this for a few weeks with Jackson, but 2 weeks max, after I stopped taking my Prenatal and switched to the Flintstone Vitamin it went away. I hope this pregnancy has short lived sickness too!

Looking at the silver lining however, sickness must mean that you are doing well in there. I hope you are growing healthy and strong so you can come out to meet us in July. I will get to see you in less than a week now at the ultrasound on Monday.
