I See You!!!

Little one, I could not have been more filled with joy then I was yesterday morning! The ultrasound went exactly as I prayed it would, to the last detail. Right when the ultrasound started, I was able t osee you, no looking around! The Dr. said, "There's your munchkin! It definitely has a heartbeat." It was such a beautiful thing. Your Auntie and Cousin Coco were there, Daddy had to be at work. So we walked out of there feeling very happy and confident!
I videotaped a few moments of the ultrasound to show your Daddy, and he told me that when he saw your heartbeat, he felt very strongly that you were a little girl! How cute, he hasn't had an opinion on boy or girl since the beginning!
You are still constantly in my prayers. I'm looking forward to you being big enough to find with my fetal doppler. I'll be glad to listen to your heartbeat whenever I want to, as I did with your brother.

1 More Day Before I See You!

Today I'm 7 weeks and 1 day. It's very exciting to continue to move through the first trimester!

Tomorrow morning is my ultrasound and I am really glad that it will be the first time I lay eyes on you. I hope to have a picture of your little beany blobness to share.

I'm still experiencing a lot of dizziness and some nausea. But I'm making it through. What matters is that you are making it, baby bean.

Why O Why, Baby #2??

I'm now 6 weeks and 4 days. Well, if I thought I was getting out of morning sickness this pregnancy, I was wrong! It's been pretty steady the last 5 days or so, pretty yucky the last 2 where I have to lay on the couch for a few hours each morning. It's hard to chase a rambunctious toddler around feeling so poopy! I remember feeling slightly like this for a few weeks with Jackson, but 2 weeks max, after I stopped taking my Prenatal and switched to the Flintstone Vitamin it went away. I hope this pregnancy has short lived sickness too!

Looking at the silver lining however, sickness must mean that you are doing well in there. I hope you are growing healthy and strong so you can come out to meet us in July. I will get to see you in less than a week now at the ultrasound on Monday.

5 Weeks Along

Well my second set of numbers from Tuesday came back perfectly fine, my little one! You seem to be growing and doing well. The first ultrasound is scheduled for December 8th. This will basically be for my peace of mind. I should be able to see you, your little heartbeat and know you are safe inside of me.

It's hard to imagine, but I already feel an attachment to you, a love for you--an excitement to meet you.

Jackson doesn't understand the concept that there is a baby in my tummy and he will be a big brother, but he has plenty of time to get used it and watch you grow bigger and bigger.

My only real symptoms right now are fatigue (that could certainly be pegged to the fact that I'm just not sleeping well), and sporatic slight nausea. The Restless Legs Syndrome has already gotten worse too, as it does when I'm pregnant.

100

I got my first number back from my blood test Friday, the number was around 100, said the Doc! That's fine for where I am at, certainly not bad news. The more telling news will be when we get the number back that I gave today. Hopefully the levels have risen you are doing fine! :)

Confirmation

Great news, Baby #2. The pregnancy was comfirmed Friday at the OB-GYN! You will be born at the end of July, next year. You are really in there! It's so hard not to fear you'll leave me at any moment, so I have to stay connected somehow. I'm only 4 weeks and 1 day along, so I need you to just stay cozy in your Mama ok? Just hang on for me. I love you!

We've Waited Patiently!

This pregnancy took some time! Soon after we had Jackson, we were surprised to find out we were pregnant. We lost it a week later. Only a couple months after that we were shocked to find out that again we had gotten pregnant, I lost the pregnancy the day after I found out. It came and went. Very heartbreaking. We decided that was a good time for a break. We took some time to really enjoy our smart and devestatingly gorgeous son. :) This year we decided to get serious about trying to conceive in May, but we still took a pretty laid back approach. I didn't use Ovulation Predictors or anything. It took us 7 cycles! On November 4th, Election Day, I broke out in a very itchy rash. It made me raise an eyebrow as I knew I was in the 2 week wait and early pregnancy symptoms could start showing, but I've never had this one before. The rash worsened as time went on, I had a dizzy spell last week and started getting hunches as these are not normal things for me to experience. Today I woke up scratching so hard my legs were bleeding, and I decided that even though I wasn't due to start my next cycle till Saturday, Wednesday would be testing day. The line came up shockingly fast on an internet cheapie that I took! It was light, but it was there. The saying for Pregnancy Tests goes, "a line is a line!" I knew then my hunches were confirmed. About 2 hours later I tested with a store brand and again, very quickly a positive line appeared! I'm very happy to hopefully now be moving into a new phase of life with my sweet baby boy and another on the way! So that's my Pregnancy Test story about #2 Baby Miller!

Finally!

After two losses, and many many months of trying, Karl and I are expecting another baby! We are VERY excited! This baby is due to enter the world on July 26th, 2009. We love you new little baby and you have the best big brother ever!
